Specialty Grade U29-400 is a firm flexible polyether polyurethane foam designed for use in packaging applications, for high load-bearing upholstery, and as a carpet underlay. It has been widely used in sound absorption in studios and offices. It is especially effective in trapping high pitched, short wavelength sound.

The foam is firm and 'boardy', making it suitable for use in road cases and packaging applications. Its firm boardy characteristic makes it easy to cut with a sharp blade. U29-400 is charcoal grey in colour.

Typically, this foam grade will contain a scattering of small air bubble holes in the surface of the foam. This is normal, and typical of some high hardness foam grades, including this U29-400.

Sold by sheet size (2100x1000mm) in your choice of thickness, U29-400 is suitable for specialty storage, transport, packaging and sound absorbing applications.
