Artist Statement: We live amidst unprecedented social, economic, and political upheaval, with many fearing that we have lost sight of our shared humanity. Despite the promise of greater interconnectivity and interdependence brought about by age-defining technological advancements, we seem to have become more isolated. Yet, it is in these moments of profound challenge that the opportunity for reflection and redirection emerges, urging us to rebuild the foundations of our society on the pillars of compassion, solidarity, and mutual respect.

As we navigate this complex landscape, it becomes imperative that we reaffirm our commitment to empathy, understanding, and cooperation. Recognizing the dual-edged nature of technology, we must harness its capacity for good, leveraging it as a tool for fostering genuine connections and bridging divides. In an era where technology is deeply intertwined in our lives, I contemplate its potential to accelerate positive transformation, urging us to reimagine its application to amplify voices that yearn for unity and to construct platforms that celebrate our shared humanity."

Reflecting on my diverse experiences across the globe, I’ve come to recognize the shared commonalities that bind us together as a global community.
